Human Service Assistants
Social workers are responsible to help social workers and health workers provide various services to people. A social worker, for example, can work in an independent capacity as a group home.
They first assess the needs of customers and their eligibility for various benefits such as Medicaid and food stamps, and arrange transportation for them and provide emotional support. Social workers have a number of functions in a community crisis intervention and management of food banks and emergency food programs.
